I don't see why you couldn't just choose both, but if you want to compare them the biggest thing is that NMS will have every planet fully explorable, some full of life. I know E:D will be getting planetary landings, but from what I heard there will only barren planets for now. I don't really know much about what you do in E:D, but from what I understand it's more about fighting and trading than anything else, while NMS is more based around exploration. Plus E:D is more realistic, and is more of a space sim, while NMS is more sci-fi, arcadey, and unrealistic.

Yes elite is more about surviving anyway your way then exploring. Anyways, love the thread; I have elite and it is excellent and I will be getting nms when I finally get a ps4 for uncharted 4.

I'll definitely be getting Elite whenever it comes out on PS4 along with NMS. Do you by any chance have Elite on Xbox One? I just want to know how the controls are on a controller.

Yea I have it on xbone. I have heard the keyboard controls are bad and if you have it on pc then you should get a joystick and stuff. I love the Xbox controls, I did change it from the default but you can remap everything so.

I always figured that a keyboard would have better controls, but hearing that a controller works well is good news, and even better knowing that you can customize them. Now I just have to wonder how Kerbal Space Program will work on a controller...
