Extra Credits pulled up a Destiny vid. (not gameplay, but an interesting topic of discussion)

If you don't know what EC is, try it out. They create content that's often quite useful for those thinking about dabbling in development. Anyway, the vid TL;DR is that Destiny instead of targeting a certain activity and making it "great" just keeps a notably wide assortment of activities at "good" that allows anyone to be able to pick it up, not making the "best game evar!", but as a comfort option, one that no matter the mood or situation Destiny's a reliable go-to due to it's variety and binge-ability that while a PvP player may scoff and go back to Counter Strike if they want to play with friends the PvP is solid enough that they can play with a more casual PvP-er or even a PvE player in the hopes of gaining a reward useful for PvP play as well and vice versa due to how the two intermingle. Going so far as saying that if Destiny doesn't meet its' 10 Year program it won't be for lack of meeting goals of making the variations of the game solid (if not amazing) but for lack of pushing out enough content consistently.
