Who do you think is trying to ruin destiny.
Is it no one? Or is it everyone's fault.
Do you think the community really is Toxic?
Edit: I personally really enjoy destiny and still play it a lot but I do think that this community is slowly getting more and more toxic sadly.

Activision and people like you

- people who think the game is bad and still hang around the forums and destiny videos and trash the game (it's not criticism anymore) - Activision

I think its whole mix of things tbh but the main ones which really could hurt this game are: - lack of content (not just replaying stuff over and over again) - how much they are bleeding every penny from their players - useless drops - unnecessary grinds (i.e plant material searching for the exotic sword) - Time gated quests There were tons of improvements with TTK dont get me wrong and I still thoroughly enjoy playing Destiny One other thing that seems to be missing is that gun(s) which everyone wants, there is no Gjallarhorn which everyone wants no carrot on the end of the string. Love it or hate it but having a weapon everyone wanted to get was actually kinda fun, yea it may have tore the community apart from those who did or did not have it but we all knew that you didnt have to have a gally to do anything in year 1. and it was still good to see people geniunely excited about having this one weapon. there isnt anything like that in year 2, I mean there arent videos of people literally crying when got their first sleeper simulant, or a top 5 reactions for the supercell dropping lol

Edited by wraith_1973: 11/12/2015 1:26:23 PMI like destiny ... It's my time away from stress and the busy life. I think it's a select few that are putting a black cloud in the forums and lfg. We take everything for granted and have forgotten what a fun game it is. For the people who like to bitch etc. slow down enjoy the game, it's not a race. Oh and does anyone really care if people leave ( for whatever stupid reason they have)? I don't, I play this game for my entertainment.

I'd say more activision. They seem to be pushing $ way too much when the focus should be more on quality with establishing this game series. The other side would be Bungies seeming inability to balance the game in a timely manner. I've predicted the new meta with each announced nerf. I'm not sure if they just don't know what they're doing because of only worrying about an arena power weapon shooter before, or whether they've just made the weapons too complex with variables for them to properly anticipate meta shifts. But in either case the result is you have weapons being broken to the point of forced use or unusableness, and have to wait moths for them to correct the flaws, only to create a new sometimes worse set.

Elitist ? The game requires people to be that light level they just enforce it

No one is actually ruining destiny. This forum however is another story.
-
-
Bungies inability to use the content in the game with any imagination and creativity, ie put a timer on story levels, turn them into speed runs and have leaderboards
-
The Toxicity of the community. Everyone complains about everything or are elitist.....it's a game, play it or don't.
-
Crucible. That's where 100% of the nerfers are born. And about 95% of the forum complainers. (All stats were made up)

This game has the best gunplay avail and its longevity is extremely impressive. Reality is that Bungie is focusing on Destiny 2 right now and hence they don't have an abundance in the pipeline. The lack of hype is kinda hurting it atm, however, this all gives us a chance to dabble in other games for a bit. A majority will return once the hype train resumes, and those who don't will be replaced by new gamers coming into Destiny 2. Imagine more open worlds, better story, better gameplay, 60 fps. Let Bungie focus on the sequel for now. They've learned a lot in the last year. And they've already created one of the most addicting video games in the history of gaming. Imagine how much better it will be in the sequel. Crack squared incoming.
