Bungie trying to push in recon?
It seems like now that many more people have recon and it is becoming less special even with halo 3 still out. Bungie seems to be pushing it with the Bungie vs The World Day and the Microsoft Challenge.
It's almost like they want everyone to have it because when out comes ODST everyone with live will have it and games will be based with strictly recon wearers. I rememeber when recon was hard to get with the screenshots let alone any other way.
Bassically I am saying that Bungie is pretty much just trying to hand out recon at this point and by the time ODST comes out I predict at least half the ammount of recon bearers will be doubled and when ODST comes out I would say in weeks the Recon population will double.
How special is Recon if everyone has it?

they should just come out with a new armor after ODST comes out like a skull for a helmet or somtin im sure bungie will have new armor

Bungie did so because they know that it won't be as great when everybody has it and milks it online. I know the vidmaster's are going to be hard (come on, i was there for the annual, hard and long unless you grenade jumped). Add fall damage, the need for health packs, less health, and stealthy gameplay forced upon you, and you'll get extremely hard vidmasters.

It would be cool if they came out with something else exclusive, like super recon, lol. On a more serious note, if you do come out with something else as i mentioned, Bungie, make it like how recon used to be(super hard to get) and keep it that way. please. It adds depth to the game on a level I am only just starting to understand. --my opinion

People want recon armour because few people have it. It isn't that it looks cool or helps you or anything. It's natural of people to want something that they don't have.

I hoped annual was the hardest. if i spent 3 hours doing that how long is it going to take to do the other ones. @ OP This is yet another repetitive post. Please, you make it sound like an omen of apocalypse when ODST launches and everyone can get Recon. Eh... I'm already bored of it. In an hour and a half of matchmaking I saw 4 different recon sets. To me that's common enough that I don't care about seeing it.

Personally, I'll wear it only for customs when ODST comes out. I like being a dino in swat. Also, there won't be as much recon owners as you think when ODST comes out. Only people with linked gamertags can get it.

Before Bungie Day, people were complaining that it was so hard to get Recon, and they would do anything for it. After Bungie Day, people are complaining that it's too easy to get Recon, and Bungie should stop giving it out. What the hell is wrong with this community? It's just armor.
