Bungie trying to push in recon?
It seems like now that many more people have recon and it is becoming less special even with halo 3 still out. Bungie seems to be pushing it with the Bungie vs The World Day and the Microsoft Challenge.
It's almost like they want everyone to have it because when out comes ODST everyone with live will have it and games will be based with strictly recon wearers. I rememeber when recon was hard to get with the screenshots let alone any other way.
Bassically I am saying that Bungie is pretty much just trying to hand out recon at this point and by the time ODST comes out I predict at least half the ammount of recon bearers will be doubled and when ODST comes out I would say in weeks the Recon population will double.
How special is Recon if everyone has it?

Oh my god. Dude, this is Bungie.net, not "PatrioticSpeeches".net. If you want to be all "do something other than playing a game", take it somewhere else. It's not like we never go outside and socialize. And, to prove you wrong, most people who have Recon ARE special, like the famous screen-shot maker, Predator. So get your facts straight before you say stuff in public.

i do wish I could have it I would do anything for it ........well not anything I like the armor but im not like wanting to use it to brag but I made a screenshot its on my fileshare called 10 years its for bungie being around for 10 years do you all think its recon worthy cus I dont alot of my friends do

I don't see what the big problem is. I wouldn't care if there was only 1 vidmaster achievement and all you had to do was play a game MM. So what if everyone has recon and your not special anymore. Get over yourself.

[/quote] Give it a week or two. It will be just like the Hayabusa epidemic. Everyone wanted it when they found out how to get it. Many people wore it in MM, but as soon as everyone had it people realized it wasn't special anymore. Then, there was a decline in Hayabusa. Personally, I think Bungie should have kept it to themselves. Recon is causing some trouble with hacked accounts and what not. It's not even the best looking armor, IMO.

its not just about the rareness of recon. it actually looks cool. If it was just a normal helmet and lets say EOD was the cool (recon) i would wear recon

[/quote] One not talking to you and two so you agree with my OP?[/quote] Oh, sorry lol I dont know if I agree exactly with your opinion, I dont really see any reason for giving it out with ODST except for the fact that some people might buy it just because they can get recon from it (if that was your idea). I agree with that it wont be special if everyone else has it though, as Im sure a lot of other people do too I think its kind of strange that bungie would have all these competitions such as all those screenshot ones from campaign etc, and now bungie day where tons of recon sets were given out, when recon is going to be easily obtained a few months later. Bungie must have trickz up their sleevez!
