Atheon battle fireteam formation and strategy.

Since the implementation of the random selection through the timestream during the last battle, I have found that, in my experience, fireteams picked at random or who have been made-up partly of stragglers from the hub in the attempts to defeat Atheon have slim to no hopes at level thirty (with the exception of the rare case of there being an extraordinary commander present at time). I am here to offer you a strategy that, if six players all knew and remembered then, they would have a far greater chance of success and greater opportunities for rarer treasures. Chapter one: The Home Team So to recap the basics of the Atheon fight: Battle begins with Atheon firing upon the likely Guardians who hope to become heroes. They take cover by one of the two confluxes on either side of the starting point. After Atheon sends three Guardians through the timestream its the Home Team's responsibility to (destroy their detainment fields first in hard mode and then) get in position, where one Guardian stands upon the pillar on the Mars Conflux and another on the Venus Conflux, which will activate both portals. As Supplicants spawn (first sent to the Venus side conflux) both Guardians who are standing on the confluxes should be (a) defending their conflux and (b) Supporting the opposite side conflux in defending against supplicants. The third Guardian has one of two roles to play: IF the Away Team is at Mars then the third Guardian should be supporting the Home Team; destroying supplicants. His second role is that if the Away Team is at Venus then as soon as the Venus Portal is open he should go through to support the Away team by destroying the Minotaur and then destroying oracles . The Home Team should also be aware of where the Away Teams location by looking at their own radar (if the radar shows the green arrow far off the the left, the away team is at Mars, where if the green arrow on your radar is far off to the right then your teammates are at Venus). Chapter 2: The Away Team The Major responsibilities of the Away Team are twofold: firstly, someone must pick up relic and that person kills all the enemies. Secondly the team has to destroy all the oracles. When playing on hard mode the person carrying the relic HAS to be level thirty. The reason this is true is that when on Mars, if the relic holder isn't level thirty then the hobgoblins won't die in one attack and thus increasing the chance of a sudden and unexpected failure. So When on Mars the level thirty relic holder just runs down the stairs and melees the three hobgoblins and then cleanses his teammates as necessary until they make it out of the portal. The other two Guardians simply destroy the oracles (All Guardians should know the pattern of positions of the oracles as they appear). On Venus, when playing level thirty difficulty, some precautions should be made. At this phase the Guardian from the outside should be coming through the portal as backup to the Away team. The Away should start this encounter by the level thirty Guardian taking the relic and the other two guardians throwing grenades and shooting at the minotaur until it is destroyed and then immediately firing upon the oracles as the relic holder destroys the straggling enemies and then begins cleansing the others. The fourth guardian should be helping with oracle extermination and giving high fives as the rest of his team approaches. Everyone exits the portal as a team. No man or oracles left behind. Chapter Three: The Death of Atheon To be continued...
