Fable Legends?
Fable Legends is due out later this year on Xbox One and P.C, features cross play (Xbox users can play against P.C gamers and visa versa).
Has anyone else played the closed beta? If you have do you have any tips? What were your thoughts?
Personally I want a new Fable game like the original game, are you excited by Legends or do you want another game like the original?

Would play another one if I had an xbone, but I feel a progression is needed, particularly in the combat and skill trees, which have always been a little basic. A larger scale story with a little more ambition wouldn't go amiss either. Perhaps not really possible with this type of release though.

Playing as a hero is just like normal fable but playing the villain is going to take some serious practice, I just hope the community gets onboard with the game and helps it grow further Edit: last I heard the closed beta is now on 24/7 until release so that all the bugs can be sorted out before launch

Edited by YumekuiRaeun: 10/22/2015 3:32:06 AMI hated 3 so I don't feel obligated to think that Legends will be better, it'd certainly be wonderful for it to return to it's roots, I specifically LOVED Fable 2 :P Except this new one looks more like a sort of Overlord or Dungeon Creator game, so I have no idea what's gonna happen And since I assume it's Xbox only I won't be able to play it anyways

It looks like a moba of some sort. I wish it were just a single player rpg like it used to be.

I'm a huge fable fan but this is honestly not like the old ones. It's free to play and some moba type thingy. Trailers don't look good at all imo. But that's just my opinion. Maybe it's cool and fits to fable. We'll see

Like you said I'd rather have something like the originals. I'm not remotely interested in this new one. To be completely honest I think they could of named this game something totally different but people know the fable name

But I have no issues with a spin-off. It looks like it could be fun. And if legends becomes popular we might see a returned interest in the fable series, which might prompt another RPG. Either than or it would just spawn more spin-offs. I hope for the former.
