I am a collector. Yes, I realize most of you on here would not consider me one because I don't have much time played, or I've only played one character since TTK dropped or other various things, but I love collecting gear. In turn, I hate getting rid of gear, especially unique gear. I recently reran VoG because a friend wanted to and I was bored, and I ended up getting Corrective Measure for the first time. Even though it is now useless, I was happy that I got a new weapon that I can only get from a specific activity, a raid at that. I don't want to dismantle, but I don't like that it takes up space in my vault. I would like to bring up the suggestion to adding such loot to a kiosk. This kiosk would be separate from the others. Maybe close to the emote one, or at the very end of the vanguard place. It would contain a category for VoG, CE, PoE, KF, strike-specific, and all future raid loot. Now I know there would be problems. All perks are randomized on drop, and probably a decent amount of work for something that a good amount of people won't utilize to its full potential, but I know how much Bungie values their collectors, we are the reason the ships and sparrows and exotics and.... kiosks were adding (besides reducing vault usage). I think this would be a big improvement and help to us collectors. So now it's your turn community, what do you think?

Yes, this should be done. I've Googled this topic a few times to see if there's any news about it and have made my own post about it as well. I want the raid collections more and much prefer to see it happen first, but I also think a Legendary Collections to track all legendary gear would be nice. Even if they made it where we couldn't buy the gear back and we could only view them, these collections would be nice to see what we have and haven't obtained. For example, there could be a couple of kiosks for legendary gear from Tower merchants, so one could have legendary gear from the Vanguard, Crucible, Gunsmith, and the Speaker, and the other can have legendary gear from the Dead Orbit, Future War Cult, and New Monarchy factions. The factions kiosk can be located down in the bar near the emote kiosk, and the one with the Vanguard could be located in the hallway with the Crucible guys or near The Speaker. There could also be a kiosk in the Vestian Outpost for Queen's Wrath and Trials of Osiris gear. House of Judgement gear would fall under PoE in raid collections because House of Judgement gear is PoE gear (unless PoE would be separated from raid collections, then in that case, PoE would be included in this kiosk in the Outpost). Also, although Queen's Wrath weapons are obtained from the PoE chests, the weapons themselves don't have perks specific to PoE like House of Judgement weapons do (level 35 is focused on Fallen in last two rounds, and HoJ weapons have perks specifically for Fallen, just like raid weapons). This kiosk would also give another incentive to actually go to the Outpost. There can also be a kiosk for Iron Banner gear that's in the back section when Lord Saladin shows up, though this would mean of course that this kiosk is only accessible during Iron Banner. It may seem cluttered having more than one faction under one kiosk, but a solution to that could be that when you access the kiosk, it asks you which collection you want to view. You then choose Armor or Weapons. This would take you to a similar screen as the Exotic Blueprints where one screen would have all Year Two gear and tabbing over shows you Year One, and just like the Exotic Blueprints for armor, you would only see the armor of the class that you are playing as. All of these kiosks may seem to make the Vault useless (if they were made where we can buy back the gear), but they wouldn't because we would use our vault to store fully upgraded gear with the highest light level that we've gotten them to, and for gear that we don't want to dismantle, even if we could buy it back. We would also continue use it to switch weapons between characters and store excess materials. As for the Raid collections, I think it could be located in the Hall of Guardians across from the abandoned quests kiosk. This kiosk wouldn't have the clutter issue as there's only one of each type of weapon (except sidearms), and only one set of armor per class. King's Fall does have two separate weapons/armors for the difficulties, but they can just be separated. Tab 1 would have weapons for VoG, CE, PoE, KF normal, and KF heroic (there are 9 weapons per raid, so there's enough room on one screen for all basing it off of the Exotic Blueprints layout). Tab 2 would have armor for VoG, CE, PoE, KF normal, and KF heroic (there are only five pieces of armor, six including artifact from KF). In regards to the problem you brought up, that shouldn't be an issue because Exotics drop with different stats, but they have what I guess you could call a default roll in the collections (and when Xur sells them). So with the Raid Collections (and the others if they were to also be done), it could just default them as well (with PoE, I think it should default the armor to its perks that are for the Fallen, and I think all gear should default at their lowest light level obtainable from drops, or like the Exotic Blueprints, the lowest light level obtainable from drops, -10 light). Another possibility on the perks (with the exception of that one perk for PoE armor) is that they could just have a random roll when you buy it back. I also think that in addition to Legendary Marks, it should require the raid's materials to buy back raid gear. So Ascendent Shards would be required to buy back VoG armor, and Ascendent Energy for VoG weapons. Same with CE and its Radiant materials. Armor Cores and Weapon Cores for PoE, and Moldering Shards for both KF normal and heroic.
