The forums are rife with debates regarding who among the three main classes are the master race. Not often enough is it discussed which element has it the best. [u]Void[/u] This group of subclasses [i][b]may[/b][/i] have the highest orb production of three subclasses as well as the highest damage output. In their favor a Defender can produce orbs with Ward of Dawn taking damage with Gift of the Void. The Nightstalker will then tether the enemies and debuff them for a combination of gunfire powered by Weapons of Light. While the Voidwalker's super isn't very effective in PvE, on tethered foes it is devastating especially with Obsidian Mind equipped. [u]Arc[/u] This is a questionable group of subclasses that would probably specialize in anything but their Supers. The Striker is subpar in PvE but the damage output of the Lightning Grenade and the debilitating effects of the Stun Grenade are formidable. What the Blade Dancer lacks in Super damage it makes up in utility. No class is better at infiltrating enemy lines with a Fourth Horseman and obliterating majors. The Storm Caller is the only Arc-Wielder truly capable of creating orbs with their super and their grenades and melee with Perpetual Charge would ensure they always have it. The Arc casters have a serious lack of synergy with their supers but they have an odd utility that could have potential with buffs. [u]Solar[/u] The Sunsinger has seen some changes but the Song of Flame and tankiness of the class makes them valuable on any fireteam. Rezzing helps too. With Song of Flame they can give the Sun Breaker all the hammers they need. The hammers of sol work well in PvE but the Sun Breaker's major selling point is Melting Point. Whereas the Night Stalker's debuff is like 35% on a tether, Melting Point is like 50%. A Celestial Nighthawk equipped Hunter would do incredibly well under those circumstances. They work well together if a little on the riskier side to get the most out of their damage. What do you think is the PvE master element?
