Thank You Bungie

Dear Bungie, When I was about five years old I received my first Xbox. My very first game was Halo (I know, a bit too young for that game). Ever since, I was in loved with that series from Halo 1 - Halo 4. You left one of Destiny's eastereggs in Halo 3 ODST. Many were confused. Your contract with Xbox ended and you guys started a new game, so 343 Industries took over the Halo series. You guys then announced a project, Tiger. Eventually, Destiny was announced. You showed the community beautifully detailed concept arts and left the community filled with questions with the Bungie Mail Sack. The anticipation was real. Then the beta was released. The hype grew and the love for the game expanded. During the beta I enjoyed my time with my friends. We grinded the Devil's Lair strike, competed in the crucible, and my favorite, enjoyed the scenery. When Iron Banner came out. I was in the area enjoying the scenery. Finally, after a long time, Destiny was officially released. Seeing Destiny download on my console filled me with joy and happiness. All my friends hopped on and we played. We went through the campaign, played the strikes, played against others in the crucible, then finally played our first raid. Vault of Glass, one of the most diffiuclt and enjoyable raid of Destiny. Even to this day it is difficult to get pass either Templar or the jumping puzzle without anyone dying. We raided every week on all of our characters, each and every moment was a blast, but that was just the beginning. Crota's end came out after a few months. We fought our way through the thralls, passed the bridge, through the Deathsinger, until we met Crota. The most challenging boss ever since the Crota expansion. Eventually we slayed Crota, and that first moment was amazing. Again, few more months and the House of Wolves came out. We fought our way to capture Skolas, the traitor. We worked with Petra Venj and Variks (He's cool :) ). We survived in the arena fighting multiple bosses and the one that tops all of them, Skolas. My first time took me like 5 hours to kill Skolas, we then jumped down through the hole to find our selves in a room of gold and treasures. Year 2 came by and the biggest expansion was released, The Taken King. Oryx found out his son was dead. We started out in the Coming War mission and encountered the Taken. It was a thrill! We stepped foot on the Dreadnought the ship and location of Oryx. We planted beacons and when we were ready we slayed Oryx, or did we? (Spoiler) Oryx in the end turned Taken. We jumped into the raid to seek him. We slammed relics into the statues, jumped the ships, turned on the glyphs, killed the Warpriest, went through Golgoroth's cellar, killed Golgoroth, went through another jumping puzzle, killed Oryx's sister, and then fought Oryx. Seeing his body flow through outerspace was hilarious, great times. :) In conclusion, I just wanted to say thank you Bungie. You put so much work into your game with more content in the future. Everyday I would hop on Destiny and chat with my friends. I also met new ones through raiding. I wish I could say more then just a thank you but this is unfortunately as much as I can do. Again, thank you Bungie, I will support your game to the very end :). Sincerely your beloved supporter, Jonathan
