So I just started, and I play with six real life friends who've been on Destiny a long time are all well geared.
I just can't understand why after one bad lop-sided Crucible match none of them want to queue up for Crucible ever again? Is it pride? These are the same guys who can tackle the game's hardest content and win.
I'm not yet at endgame so maybe I'm missing something, but isn't the thrill/pressure/progress inherently fun? I leveled to 40 (293 light) from Crucible and Strikes and I'm definitely middle-of-the-pack. I think they're totally unreasonable to expect to beat Crucible veterans without due practice. What do you say? Why are our mentalities so different?
Cheers for all the crazy skilled kills people have gotten on my ass these last few weeks. ^^;

Getting matched in a game where you're constantly one shorted by snipers, shotguns, and supers is no fun. You can't improve your skills of you me dead most of the time. A good match feels even, and Bungie is trying (and failing) to set up fair matches server side. My advice: what for Iron Banner. That's when the regular players come out to play.
