SLEEPER SIMULANT IS BAD? (video)
I finally received my sleeper simulant and demonstrated it's effectiveness in PvE and Pvp. Judging by the video, do you you think the gun is worth it or is it just over hyped? Let me know below!

7 RepliesI was extremely suprrised in crucible earlier today when the kill feed said I got a headshot on someone. The fact that it can crit is honestly pretty scary and now I want to try it out on Aetheron or Golgoroth lol. It's not very good in PvP though, unless you're playing control on a map like Firebase Delphi where people are confined into CQB and you can abuse the ricochet. It's an interesting weapon but it was massively overhyped. Gjallarhorn 2.0 it ain't, not by a long shot. I was really hoping it'd be flashier with lazers jumping all over the place and enemies exploding (kinda like in Gundam) but no :(

I dismantled my Gally for the heavy weapon component. I hope it's not that bad.

4 RepliesIm glad it's not overpowered. Maybe add a few more rounds in the mag. Hopefully will get mine in about 10 hours. Gally was hopefully the last overpowered exotic. And for good reason.

It wipes out most shielded majors in 2 shots, so it's definitely not a bad gun. The ammo reserves absolutely should be increased, but that's all I have against the gun. Getting that extra random kill from the ricochet is pretty funny. The problem is that people were susceptible enough to buy into the hype. If Bungie never announced the Sleeper Simulant and the community never called it the "Gjallarhorn of Year Two", I guarantee you that the majority of the players would've been enjoying it. It was hyped up to be this God of a weapon and everyone believed it. If you're disappointed then you deserve to be for setting your expectations high for content that wasn't even released yet.

1 ReplyI don't care what anyone says you get critical shots w the ss it does a f*ton of damage .. It is damn good to finish off bosses for sure !! I'll run through ought strike w my exotic sword then switch to ss for boss works like a damn charm!!

4 RepliesI've already seen so many people just fire body shots with it. It has very good range and accuracy and people aren't taking advantage of it. Aim down sights and shoot critical shots not body shots. Obviously there is situations where one of the exotics swords just makes things easier. You have to get crits with this gun if your in a situation where you can't do that then you need, rockets or a sword. I feel like people just expected to be able to hip fire this thing and just kill strike bosses in two shots.

1 ReplyIt is pretty damn good if all in your fireteam use it and hits critical on bosses, it is a monster. However, use it on your own and it is a decent heavy weapon.

1 ReplyI'm getting 18-28K crit shots depending on the situation, level/light level that any given activity may be on. Im not saying it's best but it sure isn't shit.
