Don't Trust Eris
I'm not really one for trusting people but I have to say, Eris Morn is definitely someone my spidey senses tingle at. She's up to something & it's not something that's going to benefit the guardians at all. Personally, I think she's a dirty hive in disguise. The fact that she was the ONLY one to come out of Crota battle alive??? Way too suspicious for my liking. & what's her desperation for Crota's soul, essence & more?
Keep an eye...or 3 on that one.

What if the stranger is a survivor of the raid team that was lost in time from the vex and learned to travel in and out of time, just like how eras is the only survivor of the Crota raid.

1 ReplyHer desperation for these things such as the soul is because it weakens Croata making him easier to kill. If he was at full strength we would have never stood a chance. The reason why she has all this darkness around her is simply because she has no light left. Her ghost killed and only her and Toland remaining. She sacrificed her light to blend in with the hive and escape.

1 ReplyPersonally I think The Traveler and the Speaker are up to no good. What if the traveler destroyed the cabal, fallen, hive, and vex home worlds and that's what drew them to attack earth because that's the heart of true evil.

And he wanted his father dead and that was the only way to get him here, i mean he did kill his sisters, maybe he wanted the taken king spot... And who is this "queen" eris was talking to, maybe the taken queen, maybe a hive wizard that couldnt beat oryx cause of some love she had for him, but with him dead, she can be the next main villain. But, with all this, i would really like the next dlc cabal based like they send someone after the brothers are killed, we know they were sending messages to someone outside the solar system, that could be cool

5 RepliesIf you read the calcified fragments, they talk about oryx sisters. I think she works for the witch-queen and that in order to live in the hive ship she ingested one of the worms. So she is a hive, and in order to survive she has to feed her worm which in turn feeds the witch queen.

7 RepliesEris represents some sort of tipping point in the game. One that I suspect has to do with the fact that I believe we are not involved in a struggle between Good and Evil, but between other, more fundamental forces. Like Creation v Destruction....or Order v Chaos Which means that we might realize that (ultimately) it may be in our intersts for NEITHER **side*** to win. Because we may find out that we are simply pawns in a conflict where neither side really has what is in our best interests at-heart. What I think will happen is that Eris represents an IN-BETWEEN point. A nexus between the Light and the DARK. She is clearly a Guardian who was forged in Light....but was able to survive for many years by making use of the Dark. She refers/referred to Mara Sov as "My Queen"...so I wonder if she was originally "Awoken". Which means she was touched by the Dark...and has some powers that might find their source in the Dark. Lastly, although she is a Hunter, she clealry also has the powers and sensibilities of a Warlock. So I think she will play a vital role in us understanding exactly what The Darkness ulitmately is.....and will play a vital role in what is the ultimate resolution of this conflict in the Destiny Universe.

I still think the speaker is the ultimate end game bad guy. He just seems shady how he hides his face. I think it will be funny if in the end of the game you find out us guardians are the true bad guys and the traveler is the ultimate evil lol

Yeah she's up to no good, and it seems the forces of darkness are always 2 steps ahead of the vanguard. Zavala and friends always seem clueless to what's happening, except cayde who has something up his sleeves, he could be the Rasputin warmind in a physical form, only got his memory wiped.
