So I've paid $60 for destiny $35 for expansion 1 and 2 and then $80 for the collectors edition coming out to a whopping $175. Do I feel like I have been ripped off? Not in the slightest, I have 549 hours on record so in my eyes I paid a damn good price especially since $80 of my content was purchased 1 week ago. I can think of many games I've purchased for $60 that never had dlc, but not very many of them were able to soak up over 500 hours in just under a year (I purchased destiny about 5 weeks after launch). And TTK is even better than the base game was in my honest opinion, there is way more secret content through the calcified fragments and we even found a secret exotic yesterday. After running my numbers there is no way I can feel ripped off by destiny and I feel that most people would agree with me.

  • Not sure about most people because many people just quit playing if they dont like it or buy it play it for a short time and then put it down untill the next dlc, as for putting 500+ hours into a game it all depends on the replayability factor of a game.
