Need advice and need help understanding old gear vs new
Hi,
So I went back to play again and I'm at Level 30...All of my exotics and legendaries are old vanilla Destiny.
Does this mean I have to go back to blue and green items from Taken King version...some of them give more light than the vanilla legendaries that I have now.
Does this mean I will have to look for updated legendaries or should I just dismantle all of my old exotics and legendaries?
Sorry, I'm just not sure what I should be doing now.
Any advice would be great!

Personally, I am not dismantling my old legendary gear so far, because I am hoping it will be upgradeable in the future. But yes, equip whatever has the highest attack or defense number for now, which may well be green or blue.
