I'm talking small little abilities to enhance the flow of combat a little more, just allow players more control of how they want to engage the enemy or have a greater ability to combat opponents rather than simply run and jump or slide behind cover. Because at the moment its okay in PVE I guess but in the crucible you're limited to oh hey there's an enemy! Cue no choice but popping in and out of cover to get some shots off and toss a hopeful grenade or two! It just needs that little extra spice I think. What if Hunters could actually dodge and weave to avoid gunfire while getting close to an enemy for the final slashing knife blow? Use some of that speed they're supposedly renowned for. What if Titans could create a temporary shield of light or or even just be able to run and tackle the enemy like a Krogan in Mass Effect. Use some of that mass you Titans are packing in a meanigfull and lore friendly way! I play mostly as a Warlock and often think that my 'space wizard' is no different to the other classes until I get my super charge! A moment of epic space magic every couple of minutes is fine, but I'm supposed to be this powerful warlock and as soon as the going gets tough I'm reduced to running for cover like every other guardian. I want to be able to just raise a hand and create a ward that freezes projectiles before they hit me, maybe even throw them back at the enemy like that ability in Titanfall you know? Give me some time to plot my next move or just look like the badass warlock I should feel like! These small abilities could be linked to the melee button, where they have to be held to work instead of just tapped for a melee. And if you're thinking no, this would ruin destiny everyone would spam it wtf get out of the feedback forums you absolute pumpkin. Just think about it!! The abilities could drain your supercharge or have another separate charge that depletes (like the boost on a pike or something) so you have to use them more tactically or for moments of desperation or just for a cool in game moment to talk about later. It's one of the best things about this game, the stories we all have from our fights against the darkness. I just think these small additional abilities would allow for more epic moments, add a little spice to the somewhat repetitive gameplay mechanics and lead the mechanics down a more dynamic road, the classes can still be evenly matched, it would just be awesome to see this get added to the game!
