So, I understand the grind is real again - fun to see everyone are really enthusiastic and willing to make an effort. Many of us don't know how though and I haven't had time to play but I've picked up hints on how to be as effective as You can. [b]GENERAL[/b] - Level up guns fast using telemetry and motes of light - Level factions with motes/heavy ammo/commendations - Do not infuse until You have reached 280+ due to the cost of Legendary Marks - Start up three characters and do dailies/weeklies with all of them to start earning Legendary Marks. Only doing the dailies with all three will result in being able to buy something about 4 times a week. - Some Vanguard bounties can also be completed in the Crucible [b]LIGHT LEVEL SYSTEM / ENGRAMS[/b] Light level system says it's not as RNG as before - Your progression will be more linear. With that said: - Equip higher attack/defense gear makes You get drops of higher attack/defense. - When decrypting engrams don't spam. Equip weapon/armor if it has a higher value attack/defense and then decrypt next. - Save Your legendary engrams until You have reached 280. [b]STRIKE PLAYLIST[/b] - Increase probability of better drops in strikeplaylist by not going to orbit in between strikes. - People seem to talk about the 5-10 strike range to get good drops. - Increase exotic chances by buying something called "3 of coin" from Xur and use them after a couple of strikes. Apparently Your chances increase by using more than one, the preferred number seems to be 5-10. After Your next Ultra kill You need to stack up again.
