Weekly What's Update
Nothing to write home about this week, but a few useful snippets nonetheless. We discuss a sad but small delay, the Halo 2 soundtrack, cheating (of course) and some impressions of the Xbox 360.

if your worried about getting killed by a one shot kill gun then get that gun before them and use it or just kill the person with the good wepon and get someone else to use it and its not hard avoiding them just hide until u have a chance to kill them take it from me im my clans sniper its not hard killing someone that has a good wepon and if u really cant kill that person get a better wepon and fill them with led

i dont think so. if the enemy is very expirienced with one-shot-kill weapons, then you wouldnt be an idiot, so it wouldnt be your fault.

theres nothing wrong with the rocket launcher only bad thing is if someone uses it the whole round but its not hard killing someone that has the rocets and if u keep on dying well your an idiot the shogun is close range so if u dont want to die from it dont get near it kill them from a safe distance killing a sniper isnt hard just catch them on their blind side and kill them but br/pp combo is bull because the bullet homes and take s the shield and then the battle rifle kills them thats just cheap and theirs almost no exscape from the pp bullet and the people just start throughing grenades at u and thats so cheap [Edited on 5/18/2005]

I honestly really dont know why everyone is b#tchin about the br/pp combo, why dont you all complain about somethin more serious, like the rocket launcher. i mean, you are complaining about a clever combo and not one complaint about the launcher. it kills faster than the br/pp combo. like 10 times faster, because the overcharge bolt flies at almost the same speed as the rocket does, but when the bolt hits your target, it doesnt kill them instantly, but the launcher does in 1 hit( unless your rocket hit very off and didnt kill instantly or the overshield was probably equipped by your target, but that hardly ever happens!) so why doesnt everyone complain about somthin else stronger like the shotgun,sniper rifle,or the rocket launcher???

well icould say that the sniper and shotgun take alittle skill to use unlike that combo and i dont really care about your rank its simple just dont use that combo because people dont approve of cheap kills and u wont get any where if u use it i could under stand using it agenst maby a oversheild guy that has a sword but other wise that combo should be used less

i'm in full agreance with Weasy there. Although all those tricks are cheap at times, it does take some skill for some of them. Now i hate nothing more on Halo 2 is when a person owns the whole game by using the Br/Pp trick. But whenever i use it, i understand how the users feel because for some reason it feels good to whip out the battle rifle and shoot that guy in the head in like half a second. But it's only cheap if the person is freakin awsome with it. I can actually go either way on this argument.

We'll first of all like I said Its just a game so suck it up. Second, the plasma pistol was created to mainly take away enemy shields quickly, so whats the point in whinning about it when you have a perfectly good weapon at your disposle. You might as well whine about how you can kill people with one or two shots from a sniper rifle or how shotguns can be used to get on hit kills by camping. Which is also a good stratagy.

Hey Frankie. Im sure almost everyone knows about Halo 3 by now, i just want some info. I mean you cant deny it any longer because Bill Gates himself said it in TIME Magazine. Just tell us what the plan is for it. And more than "its coming out in Spring". Like how about finishing up on that cliffhanger that was "intentional" and gameplay. That sort of thing. Thanks a lot Frankie! PS: What if Sony surprises everyone and comes out with the PS3 this Christmas? Will you be ready?

hey weasy i checked the weasy gamertags and the highest lvl was a 12 and that was weasy spatan and when i looked at the regular weasy s they were all lvl ones well either u dont play matchmaking or u suck so which is it weasy or maby u have a real gamertag besides weasy and the br and plasmapistle combo is very cheap and only asses use them

I stopped playing ranked after the update. Though I enjoy more powerful grenades as I am quite the "Nade Whore"
the rest of matchmaking is screwed up. All I do now is play training but only melee and grenade without shooting. The funny thing is, if every mistake on Halo 2 was corrected, we'd have Halo 1 on xbox live... which would be awesome. Release THAT bungie. Release THAT. Also, I'd like to add that Halo is a game, and unlike real games (ie: baseball, football, hockey, etc) you can't get hurt playing them, so there's no risk and no reason to brag about anything really at all. Play the game, don't talk trash, just have fun. Calling someone a "noob" just sounds nerdy, and using terms like "owned" and "raped" just sounds like you finally won a game. If you really want to make someone think, just beat them and be nice about it. My friends and I usually get on and dick around like i mentioned by not shooting and stuff, trying to get someone to talk mess after the game which makes us laugh. (Imagine if someone on the other team shot 5000 without getting a kill, obviously not trying since it's TRAINING) Then they say something really threatening and scary like "lets go 2 on 2 right now, noob" which after we stop crying from being yelled at through a tv, we play them and win. THEN they try being all nice, and we laugh at that too. Halo's a funny game, it's like insulting a nerd's palm-pilot and seeing how mad he gets. Just be cool from the start, even if that means smokin a bowl. (or as we'll call now, "2percent'in it.") -
man i still think the br and plasma pistle combo should be almost imposible to get because really only noobs or crapy players use them and they are not a good strategy wepon combo its almost imposible to dodge a close range plasma pistle shot and then all u need to do is shoot them once whats the fun in doingthat and some a holes that use that combo if it fails to work they just start throughing every grenade they have at u and that is bull s h i t and any one that uses that combo should do every one else a favor go into your bathroom right now and go shove a razor up your ass right now and just like go die a very painful death or something its like this that combo is the same as only throughing grenades in a sword match [Edited on 5/18/2005]

well. i am a 15 on halo 2. and well. i thin kit would be cool if there was like a re-set button in the menu which would re-set your current stats in halo 2. do u think this is possible. i am accutly writing this cuz my best freind and i had a bet. if he could get to 100 kils before i did then the loser would write this message; 97-100. any-wayz could possibly this happen.

Hey frankie why did you guys put a gametype CTF COV on matchamaking, and to top that off why in the hell is it on BURIAL MOUNDS?!?!?!? WERE YOU GUYS DRUNK WHEN YOU DID THAT!?!?!?! jeez man, its impossible to get a flag, because they grab wraith, grab rockets, then a ghosts rushes over and grabs Beam Rifle, and they have all the stuff and all you have is a SMG and a Battle Rifle? thats just plain stupid...

Stop complaining about radrar! Very few people actualy use the crouch walk tactic because people don't usualy even use their radar. Trust me, I' once followed any enemy for about 2 minuts before he actualy realized that I was right behind him. And I was running!

I donj't understand why people say that using a plasma pistol bolt to take out shields then popping the enemy in the head with a BAttle Rifle is cheap. Its a perfectly good startegy. The only reason people get so uppity about is because they're a bunch of soar loosers. SUCK IT UP ITS A GOD DAMN GAME!

It will likely come out only on the 360, but that's just my opinion. The 360 will be better than the original, and the original likely won't have the graphics for Halo 3. Seriously dude, start saving money now and you might have enough by the time Halo 3 comes out([u]NEXT[/u] Fall?). For all the other vehicles such as the Phantom, Pelican, Shadow, etc., you SAY they would be overpowered, but you COULD just remove most of the turrets on them or make them so they have to be controlled by a human, I mean really, I want to escort all of my friends around in one of those cool troop transport 'Hogs just as we all die by a rocket... awesome... Radar is bad and should be removed from all matchmaking games. [Edited on 5/18/2005]

I know the answer is probably no since xbox 360 is coming out, but I was wondering if Halo 3 is coming out for the oirginal xbox as well? I really hope it is because I know alot of people, myself include, who probably won't get an xbobx 360 for a very long time, and that really pisses me off because I am a huge Halo fan. and anouther thing why do they have a good human base in turf but the scarabe base is just useless like wouldnt be awsome if u could mabey go in the scarabe it would be less difficult to guard like come o the base is a bunch of dumpsters and a piece of crap of a scarabe just laying thier ON ITS SIDE GIVING NO COVER WHAT SO EVER FROM IT couldnt they put a little more time in turf and we even had to pay for that map what the hell but the other maps are good but whats with warlock their is special about that level besides that its color full but the new maps look promiseing

ya i hate people who use the br plasm pistle combo and when your out numberd by these crack heads that shoot randomly and then like have like a fire work show with every grenade they have with them and them they all charge when my shields are down well i kill maby 2 of them then the other dude runs backwards shoot ing and jumping and running back and forth until they like all come back and gang -blam!- me and then i get t baged now that just aint nice

This is john doe541988 and i wanted to know when the 360 comes out and you play a system link game wouldent all those wireless controllers mess each other up because each box has avalibility for 4 wireless controllers to be used and you can switch it from 1-4 but when you have two xbox's in one room how would that work if two of the contollers were set to 1, would they configure with one another.
