Weekly What's Update
Nothing to write home about this week, but a few useful snippets nonetheless. We discuss a sad but small delay, the Halo 2 soundtrack, cheating (of course) and some impressions of the Xbox 360.

Do you think in your next addition of Halo you could add a replay theater so that we could watch, direct and save matchmade games?

What game is being talked about in the first question? And also I still dont understand the point of the "player score" thing on LIVE when you select a friend. It always says 0-0, whats it for anway?

I was Playing a double team game, and i stuck someone in the face with a plasma nade, but it didnt say i got the STICK medal on the screen or in the aftergame lobby. WHY?

Well, I have just started to play Big Team and almost everygame I played was on Containment. Is the map showing up more than the other maps or is it just a stroke of bad luck for me?

Also, it would be awesome if in the next automatic update you could let us have some new halo 2 emblems for multiplayer. I think it would be great to have even more choices.

If you guys want to observe the structure and what-not of the Xbox 360, just go [url=http://www.xbox360.com] here[/url]. You will be able to look at a full 360 scale photo of the Xbox 360. The communicator does plug into the top from what I can see. Sorry if someone has already posted to go to that site here. I don't exactly have the patience to read all the posts here.

If Xbox 360 is backwards compatible, can you transfer your harddrive from xbox 1 to the xbox 360?

Is there any way to make the original H2 maps downloadable on to the xbox hard drive? I have the problem where I have to reset my xbox almost every game if I want to load the maps, but my xbox always loads those 4 new maps that I downloaded on to the xbox hard drive. Would this be an easy fix to a problem that plagues a lot of Halo 2 players?

*insert DEEP sarcasm here* frankie, could you fix everything in the game that i don't like, just for little old me? frankie, I don't like this weapon, and i'm too lazy to set up custom gametypes so that I don't have to play it. would you take it off matchmaking for me? frankie, even though we all know fully well that microsoft has sworn you to secrecy on what the 360 can and can't do, and will or won't be equipped with, would you fill just little old me in on those tiny little secrets? frankie, i hate foundation, it's so retarted and -blam!-, i don't know why it's even on the matchmaking list. would you take it off for me? *end sarcasm* i work in an elementary school frankie, and reading these forums, i often think that you must have way more patience that i do :) keep up the good work.

Why dont u get rid of the plasma pistol all together. u said u took the plasma pistol out of colossus and some other lvl, but u can actually counter with sniping in those lvls. also, there are lots of walls that can block the pistol shot. but i just got done with a game of 2v2 midship slayer.they being the red team. were closer to the plasma pistol than us. so they charged and got it. and they just OWNED us. eventually another plasma pistol spawned, therefore, they both had plasma pistols. my teamate and i tried to stay inside under walls so that they couldn't be able to hit us with their pistol shots. but we couldn't get the shotgun/.sword because they controlled everything else. so could u please either take out the plasma alltogether or make it so that the pistol doesn't take away all of the oversheild/shield.

YOUR RIGHT.. They were talking about playing halo 2 on the 360 but if there is no backwards compatibility, then how? I say 2n5 sounds good to me. AND the last level of the campaign in HD GLORY MUAHAHAHHAHA can't wait.

I'm not 100% sure but i think its going to have a pre-installed speaker, and its not going to need a headset. But i am not 100 % sure once again. But it also said its going to have a usb port on the back of it, meaning for wired connections. But how the wireless works is the controller changes frequencies every half second or something, where it will not be interfered by other waves (cellphones, other wireless things) so you dont have to worry about latency. It also takes out the frequencies already being used by other machines. FREAKING SWEET

All of a sudden people are asking, I just went to my favorite game retail site, and they claim that the game is going to release on July 5th. I thought it was coming out a week before that? It was. But now it's not. Slight delay while we make it marginally more awesome. July 5th is the new date. Which is pretty convenient since it lets you play during your Fourth of July hangover --------- What are they talking about there? Are the talking about the retail map disk??? [Edited on 5/14/2005]

Yeah I've heard aboutthe Halo 2.5 for 360 as well and that it has better graphics, maps, etc.
