new ghost voice...
is there a way to turn off the new ghost voice. it's horrible, just...just horrible. i don't even think i really need to be objective towards this. no bungie. no.

2 RepliesNew voice is pitiful and annoying. What were you all thinking? The ghost should be like Garmin, I want control over my ghosts voice, I can't bear to watch cut scenes I like because of that things voice now. At least there's a skip for those now but I still have to listen to it if I even want to hear the game. I've always been a fan of bungie but, it's like someone decided to torture every guardian in existence.

I haven't played with sound since the change and just use the captions now.

I think it sounds much better. There's actually a bit of emotion and not just monotone bullshit. It also seems fitting that a tiny robot has a higher pitched voice in my opinion.

7 RepliesThe only people that really hate it are the Game of Throne fanboys that are mad Dinklage is gone. The new voice is more fitting of a robotic character that is only has about a half foot radius and pretty much cracks jokes about everything.

The new ghost is the most annoying thing about this game. And everyone hated dink, so now you see it wasn't bad at all. in comparison that is. They should give us voice options for ghosts. Love to have jim carry, Arnold Schwarzenegger, or something crazy. Even unrealistic characters, Darth Vader, optimus prime, cartman.

When I heard the new Ghost voice, it felt like Pikachu had died. They choose the most camp sounding person in the studio to do it. The effort seems rushed also. The new voice is way too cheerful, which makes the script corny. Whilst completely lacking the trepidation of the original. Peter Dinklage's voice was perfectly performed, he really made the game tense, and helped really make Ghost bonded to us. Now when Ghost speaks, I wish it'd shut-up. The reason being a monetary dispute with Dinklebot aka. Peter Dinklage, while we all happily pay over-the-odds for an expansion pack, Activision/Bungie couldn't keep a favourite? Betrayal Extermination!
