By being thick and forcing up pay walls for lackluster, story-less, recycled content, bungie may have gotten some short term money. But it's catching up to them, and it's catching up fast. You wanted to milk this game for 10 years? I'll be damned if it lasts two. Not because it's a bad game, but because bungie are poor managers. TTK should have been the game we paid sixty dollars for at launch, and the two "expansions" should have been the size of TTK. No one will ever forgive the oh so many lies and misdirections you told to your once dedicated fanbase. No one will forget the promise of story driven, fulfilling content that EVERYONE could play (optional mm). No one will forget the two "expansions" that only gave us access to recycled content, as well as things we already bought (nightfall, weekly). No one will forget the planned obsolescence you knew about since day one but hid from your fanbase. Adding in these things after a year of lies and deception won't make us forget, and YOU will suffer the consequences, not us.

Wrong. You assumed Destiny players were capable of thought. THey aren't. Luke Smith says "throw money at screen", money get's thrown at screen.. Same reason why people smoke, drive drunk, do stupid shit in life.. They aren't being real with themselves and live in cognitive infancy their whole lives

Unfortunately, I'm trying to talk a friend out of it.

they will buy it because if you never owned any of the previous titles, you're getting a sweet deal. If you bought any of the other titles, you're losing out on dollars/time spent. There isn't much more to say on the matter in terms of new players. They also might not be as vocal because of the major issues that are being fixed that we demanded be fixed. (and I would like to say, thank you for those fixes).

My nephew played it for first time last week on my console. He was so impressed he is getting it on 15th with some of his friends.

how thick is your skull
-
How wrong you are...
-
Too late your already wrong TTK sales are already ridiculous... I would put money on it but I spent it on TTK
-
funny coz i actually have 4 friends who just picked up destiny.
-
My prediction is you are wrong.

Over the past week, I've lost count as to the number of sub-500 g-score players I've come across... Doesn't necessarily mean they all are getting TTK, but a number of of them very well might.

New players are buying "Destiny" for $15 or $20. Brilliantly, used copies don't have an online activation code, so the population won't drop as long as the discs are in circulation. That means new players can play for free as long as they have PS Plus or Xbox Live. But will fiscally responsible players pay $40 for the DLC? Probably not.

I aswell have multiple friends getting the game
