Nah. Taken are purely enemy troops taken and manipulated by Oryx. The gorgons are exclusive to the vault of glass and cannot leave (as far as we know) and would be way to dangerous to take imo. I mean, they can remove you from existence...

Well they actually might be, Preadyth supposedly found the taken in the vault of glass whilst traveling through time which would explain why we fight that minotaur in the Venus part of the vault of glass which is in the past, the gorgons have picked up Preadyth's signal that he left behind and have been looking for him for what could be an infinite amount of time which could explain why they haven't left the vault but hey what do I know?
