  • Dear Bungie, You could fix A LOT of issues if you simply split the game down the middle; one set of playlists for those who prefer things like Classic, Pro, SWAT, Snipers, etc, and one set of playlists for those who prefer all the new load outs and armor abilities. Personally, I can't stand playing games WITHOUT the full range of armor abilities (as far as I'm concerned, if you want to play without armor abilities you might as well just go play Halo 3), and there are obviously many people who can't stand playing games WITH all the armor abilities (btw - the only reason people complain about Armor Lock is because it prevents them from doing their little 'throw-grenade-jump-sideways-plit-plit-plit-head shot-instant-kill' gimmick over and over and over again, and instead are forced to rely on *gasp* adapting to unexpected situations). There's rarely a game where someone in the lobby isn't ticked off because they prefer one or the other and got stuck playing the one they don't like. I know you can't please everyone, and you can't make 1000 different playlists tailored to each individual, but this one beautiful change would make EVERYONE happy, because they would never get stuck playing game after game of the complete opposite of what makes the Reach experience work for them (for some people it's throwing down old school MLG style, and for others it's watching the wonderful variety and unpredictable nature of half a dozen different armor abilities clashing). Please consider this option. It would benefit the entire community: two main lobbies mirroring one another, all maps, games types and playlists identical, except one is all Classic/Pro/Old School all the time, and the other is Armor Ability Fusion Party Forever! (and for those who like both, they can switch back and forth from one side of the spectrum to the other as the mood strikes them.) This change would be epic, and wholeheartedly embraced by even the most hard to please skeptics out there. Love, A Huge Fan Of Playing With Your Awesome New Armor Abilities P.S. Sorry for the brief moment of trash talking. Such things could be avoided across the community at large if we weren't forced to fight for control over intrinsic preferences. To each his own and all that. Instead, we could focus on trash talking for some other entirely arbitrary reason:-) [Edited on 10.04.2010 4:05 PM PDT]
