Maptastic Monday!
The wait for new Halo 2 content is over. As promised, the first four (of nine) maps are available for download today via Xbox Live. When you sign in, select "Content Download" from the Live menu and you'll see two download options.
The "Bonus Map Pack" is free of charge and includes Containment and Warlock.
The "Killtacular Pack" is a premium download that will cost $5.99 in exchange for Turf and Sanctuary. Both of these maps will be available as free downloads later this Summer - [b]June 28[/b] to be exact.
Grab these maps and fire up some custom games with your friends and see first hand what we've been so excited about the past few months. Next week we will be updating our matchmaking playlists and incorporating all four new maps in the approrpriate playlists.
And, for folks who don't have access to Live, you'll be able to get all nine multiplayer maps on June 28th when the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map pack is released in retail stores.

mmmmm I love bungie for those new map, but I have to questions: 1) I've heard rumors the cd only would be availbull in U.S.A., is this correct ? (if no, the pice is $19,99, but does n e 1 know how much execualy it will be in euro's ?) 2) If I buy 1 cd, is it possible to just download the maps on 4 xboxes and then play against each other ? this is important becauz i will do a lan party with 16 players (4 xboxes) on the 29th of june ... Sorry guys, i may have missed this somwhere else but will the maps eventually come out worldwide or is it just American's and people with XBL (which i dont have) that get the new maps cos thats kinda unfair. By the way i live in australia.

I gotta wait till June 28th for the maps cause i cant get any kind of high-speed internet, therefore cannot get XBL, therefore cannot download the maps. Enjoy all of you XBLers out there!

Does anyone find the glass ceiling on Containment really annoying? I guess thats why they call it Containment, because you sure can't go very far in it.

OH CRAP, sorry for the tangent there, but i think that there should be less battle rifles iin warlock, if you want to to be like wizard, then you have to put the assult rifle back in. PLZ can you make a weapons download that has the Assualt rifle, because that was my favorite weapon in halo 1, and i think that i pwk for the people that still play halo 1.
