What I mean by that is the choice of making your guardian into a renegade. They have there own social space and they can follow down a separate quest line like: Kill all guardians in the area, Assault the city, Protect extraction crews.. Things like that (I mean I know renegades exist, so why not let us be one?) This can also give a PVP arena setting of guardians vs renegades. Give renegades specific bonuses (like on their weapons), but also drawbacks... And the choice is irreversible, but does NOT affect any of your other characters. (So my main could be a renegade, but my second character could still be a guardian) This would put a nice plot twist in the game and it could give a choice on what story mission ending you want to have.. Either the city is protected and humanity wins, or the city is destroyed and darkness consumes everything. :P
