So. I did this thing recently where i did 3 strikes on vanguard dragon flawless. Got good rewards both 2nd and 3rd time. Thing is, i an convinced that doing vanguard strikes without dying increases your chances for good loot. I am going to try to test this. If you agree, say something. If you have input, say something as well

Any1 on 360 wanna farm for hopscotch pilgrim msg me

Me friend seems to think this. I'm skeptical though. RNG is random, as the name implies, so I doubt RNG will be biased towards players with zero deaths.

Any1 on 360 wanna do speed runs for farming hopscotch pilgim msg me for an invite

I wish this were true, but it isn't. I've been in a few dragon strike runs where nobody dies for 7, 8, 9 runs in a row, and nobody really gets anything other than a random blue engram.

False

I think the other way around. I was doing strikes with 2 randoms, and one of them a level 34 was getting in front of yellow enemies and bosses and letting himself get killed on purpose , and got 2 exotics and a few legendary weapons and engrams doing that trick. I reported him for "unhelpfull" because it was getting out of hand and was obviously doing it on purpose. Guess what? A few games later i backed out and jumped in dragon strikes with my 2 brothers and i was getting in front of Phogoth and letting him kill me and i got a legendary weapon/engram in 1 drop.

The same thing has happened to me recently too. I picked up the game again and after the 4th strike I started getting legendary engrams and weapons consistently.

I want to say this isn't true based on how all other loot works in the game. How many times u see the worst player get the best shit in pvp, strikes, raids, etc... All the time.

I don't think it effects it. Look at my strike k/d

No, back when I started destiny I used to go flawless strikes consecutively 10 times and rewards were not better It's all Bs
