I read about this hours ago on MajorNelson's site. Even tried submitting it as news but i suppose having bungie announce it makes more sense.

The Legendary maps sell around 5,000 a day!?!?!!!! That's amazing!!! My guess would be maybe a thousand a day, if that. I'm happy that I bought the limited edition of Halo Wars. I was going to buy both of them anyways... so why not both at once? An extra 10 dollars for a month early is a great deal to me. Thanks Bungie. P.S. When can we get pictures of the next map pack??? Just looking at those impossibly amazing stats, I'm amazed. 1.4 BILLION Custom Content Items downloaded! HOLY BLAM! Since launch, that's averaging 30 downloads a second! HOW DO THE SERVERS DO THAT?!? 70 million files uploaded? That's quite a few files! Big servers! 1.5 files a second are being uploaded. The screenshots blew my mind, since there are so many! 85 screenshots uploaded per second... Films uploaded on fileshares alone make up 23 years of film! So many game and map variants. 15 MILLION people have played Halo 3! 15 MILLION! There are 303 million people in the US! That's roughly 20% of the United States Population! Those are just online players! Even more could have played offline! THIS IS AMAZING!

Wow only 452 people with Recon? That's really surprising. I thought the number would be well over 700 at least... Now that I'm typing this, I realize that's not much a difference and that I sound kinda dumb.

Not to sound like my friend is a cheap @$$, but he insisted on not buying the Legendary Map Pack and is waiting for the Mythic Map Pack to purchase. When will the L.M.P. be free like the Heroic Map Pack? If you guys remember how long did it take the H.M.P. be free when the L.M.P. came out?
