I keep on having an error come up where my Xbox tells me my disc is unreadable. I checked my disc and it is scratchless. I found a temporary fix however it always seems to come back. my quick (or not so quick) fix is where I have to completely uninstall my game content off my Xbox and reinstall it. This error usually comes up not long after a new compatibility pack is uploaded. I am not sure if this is coincidence or if it is linked. Any help with a different way of solving my problem would be appreciated as it currently takes me a few days to reinstall the whole game again.
PS: I am a Xbox 360 user

Edited by LoneWolf_Chops: 8/7/2015 8:24:33 AMIs your hard drive full ? there may be an issue with downloads and cache space. Do you have problems with all discs or only Destiny ? Is the game installed to the hard drive or do you play it from the disc.

I tried a disc cleaner and now have the 360 vertical instead of horizontal but still get occasional bouts of inability to read.

I went out and bought a brand new disc for 50 quid. it wasn't the disc.

You can try getting a machine that gets rid of scratches on disks. Or maybe they have one of those at GameStop. There's a chain that only exists in my area that offers that service but Idk if GameStop offers it. Try asking them first and then take a look around Best Buy

You could have a disk issue not noticeable to the naked eye. You could try getting a discount used disk from GameStop and see if you get the same problem with another disk.
