If you're in the heat of battle and are able to avoid bullets, melees, and supers, and still manage to land a throwing knife into a guardians helmet, then you should be rewarded with a kill.
-
Maybe with damage drop off? So in close distance it's one hit but on longer it's the same like now
-
If only the Incendiary Blade was capable of OHKO's to the head due to afterburn damage, then that's tolerable. If not, then people would abuse Knife Juggler.
-
No, Would Make Throwing Knife OP Throwing Knife Has A Lot Of Aim Assist And Magnetism
-
Throwing knife is there to give you another shot once your gun runs out. It makes the low mag guns more viable. None of the other melee a can one hit under normal states.
-
Then Every melee would need to be a one hit kill.
-
Why? Everyone is wearing a helmet.
-
-
Lol it's so easy to land a throwing knife headshot, can we stop pretending like it doesn't have insane aim assist?
-
Sure, as long as they cut down the aim assistance to a point where you actually have to hit the head, and not the general area around the head.
-
They would need to adjust knife juggler
-
If you have the perk that causes your knife to deal DoT, one headshot will kill as the actual knife will deal most of the damage and the fire will finish them off, that is what I use in crucible.
-
I totally agree with you. Every other class has so much better melees that can one hit but the throwing knife can't. It would only seem fair for it to be a one hit critical. I mean come on Titans have shoulder charge and warlocks have so many overpowered abilities. Give the hunters something good too.
-
I will agree, actually. Only headshots.
-
Absolutely agree
-
SHOULDER CHARGE So knives should be OP too
-
I think it has the potential to 1 hit if you have the burn, not sure tho.
-
shoulder charge, scorch…
-
Thanks bro... I love you no Homo
-
Love this idea
-
Noooooo
-
Call that a knife..
-
Eh, I'm happy how it is. If it was a OHK, people would just run around throwing them with the perk that instantly refills the knife with a precision hit. Besides, if I don't get close enough to shotgun them dead, chuck the knife at them and they go down lol.
-
It is ridiculous. Even with the burn damage and a headshot it still isn't a kill.
-
It used to be a one hit kill. People complained and Bungie nerfed them. See a pattern for PVP crybabies?
-
Nah. That's a distanced one hit mele, that's op as shit, maybe getting a throwingjnife headshot is a little difficult, but no mele should one hit someone, at least not at a distance

Edited by beta 3: 7/31/2015 9:58:10 PMWith lock on the way it is? Piss off, you could aim two feet to the right of their head and it would still hit target. Not to mention the physical impossibility of a knife piercing a helmet when thrown.
