I'm having the same problem, it's a shame Bungie hasn't done anything about this. Pretty sure I won't be buying the Taken King or any other expansions until they do for fear of ruining my TV.

It's beyond ridiculous that this has gone on for so long. It begs to question that since they don't respond to what has to be such an easy fix, they must realize they are somewhat legally liable and they don't want to open a can of worms where they could be sued.
