One final note. I know well enough never to call anything impossible to this community. However, I don't want the concept of "Mythic" to become so unbearably difficult that no one outside of our group is willing to try it. In the grand sceme of the Halo community, ours (while still relatively well known) is still fairly small. I don't want us to get to the point where we make it so hard that it crosses the threshold between "fun" and "why?" To me, Halo 3 Mythic is still less challenging than Halo 2 Legendary. I want our challenge to be difficult and challenging, but I don't want it to reach the point where no one wants to do it.
For those of you who have been around since our Halo 3 days, you may recall that once we had beaten Mythic to death in every which way, we began setting up small community achievements such as Mythic runs without plasma pistols, or without vehicles, or without the use of human weapons. Particularly with the implementation of our new Mythic Nation site, I say that we can set up challenges like that again for those who wish to take the campaign endeavor a step beyond ordinary Mythic and want to create an even greater challenge for themselves. This way, we can still maintain our standard Mythic procedure and give our folks something more to strive for without completely alienating ourselves from the rest of the Halo community.
