BWO I am a member of the group but havn't really checked it out all I have to say is that Iron your doing a great job with the group. BWO is a great place. I say that to a lot of places. Err, isn't it a bit tasteless to be featuring a group named after a notorious set of mercenaries even the FBI says is guilty of murdering civilians? This really highlights, in my mind, the problematic relationship modern gaming has with American militarism.

So I'd like to know why BWO gets a spot on Bungie's page but yet. KSI, MVG, MEA, AOW...etc. get left out. What makes them different from any other gaming community.

I have been a member of BWO for five months. From Member to Moderator to War Veteran, I've seen it all. But nothing surcomes to how happy I am to this day. Ever since I joined, our goal was to reach the Bungie.net community spotlight. Now that I see my dream has come true, I can say that I have been truly gifted to be able to watch a small group of around 400 members transform into one of the largest powers on Bungie.net. Congratulations BWO, you've made an old member content. I wish you guys lots of luck in the future, and for hopefully many years to come :D. -CB

So it seems that the community spotlight is merely just a popularity contest, where all you need to do to be spotlighted is form a random group with a non-contributive purpose and them spam everyone on bungie.net with invites.
