I downloaded the game last night and played until 3am! It's pretty damn awesome, and was wondering if anyone had any advice about it.
Hmmmm?

So war frame is worth trying? I've looked at it for a long time but never plunged

Step 1: Obtain Braton Prime Step 2: Shred Mod + Corrosive damage Step 3: Win

1. There is Grind. Get used to it. 2. There is no universally good weapon. Dragon Nikana may have best base sword damage but it mainly deals Slash damage. Keep that in mind when fighting anything except infested. 3. Coop is frigging awesome. 4. Take the time to tailor your frames and weapons with specific mid loadouts to wreck scrubs. 5. Bows aren't very good. 6. You can do backflips with aim+move backwards+sprint

I didn't play it much but bows rule

the most confusing part is learning your polarities. simple explanation time: many Warframes, Weapons and other Items have a Polarity slot, and each mod has it's own polarity. the three main ones are Vazarin (or "V" polarity), Naramon (or "Dash" polarity) and Madurai (known as "D" polarity) v polarities are usually on Offensive mods (Damage boosters), Dash Polarity is Power/Energy, and D polarity is usually Defense mods (more health/shield etc.) if you match the polarity of a mod to the polarity of a mod slot, the cost of that mod is halved, so it takes up less space. incorrect polarities give the opposite effect, taking up more space, don't do that. finally, if you are unhappy with your Polarities (or lack thereof, some items have no polarity whatsoever.) you can use Forma to change a polarity slot, though this will also reset your weapon/Frame to rank 0. you can also use an Orokin Reactor or Catalyst to double your mod capacity. once you learn how to mod properly, the rest is easy. good luck, Tenno!

Best advice is to look up Mogamu on YouTube. His videos are helpful for new warframe users.

1. Be careful when farming bosses, it can lead to you catching "someone's" attention 2. Flickering darkness effects on the edge of your screen is bad 3. upgrade your mods 4. Get a sentinel companion 5. Consecutive stealth kills increases xp gain temporarily up to 500% more xp
