I understand that the opinion of value is held by the players, and in this particular instance it may even make sense that these items be offered at an exaggerated price because they are in fact part of the Collector's Edition Exclusives, but by allowing this price model to go through unhindered is setting the precedent that EVERY cosmetic DLC from this point forward will be based off these sales. I'm not necessarily saying that people shouldn't buy the items. If you want them, buy them, that's your choice. I may even buy them myself if I get my other important monthly payments taken care of with plenty to spare. BUT, I don't have to be happy about the price that we've been given ESPECIALLY after already investing more than the $80 cost of the Collector's Edition just for the First Year. As far as I'm concerned... Bungie already has my $20 for the exclusives... The cost vs. value of each individual item could be argued til we're both blue in the face, and that's fine, everyone's values differ. What I'm really trying to get at, is Bungie or Activision or Satan himself is not treating their veteran player-base with any semblance of respect by releasing the Collector's Edition Bundle for HALF the price a Veteran must pay for the same content. It's insulting. I don't want them to jack up the price of the CE or lower the price of the new Content, because that wouldn't be fair to their dev team, as they'd likely be paying the difference from their own checks. But I think it would certainly be kind of them to discount the cost of the CE Exclusives for Veteran players who have already made their investment. After all, we are the ones who have been there from the beginning helping the Devs tweak weapons and improve the gameplay experience for the new guys.
