Chart is kinda ugly and hard to read but it's pretty much what you're looking for. 150 days ending on May 18. Original source: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/36fl0m/complete_historical_data_analysis_weapon_usage/

  • chart looks cool - but is near impossible for colorblind users to read. does it say anything surprising?

  • Fusion rifles are used more than pulse rifles(probably mostly due to Vex). Scout rifles are the least used weapons in the game. Handcannons are used more than every other primary combined.

  • Where did they get their data? I would still rather see the data directly from Bungie. But I very much appreciate the links! Thanks! =D

  • DestinyTracker, which I'd like to believe is accurate.

  • I don't know how they would have access to that data, which is why I want it to come from Bungie. But I am sure it is close.

If Destiny tracker uses an API for Bungies database then that data is accurate. API stands for application program interface. API's are released by the company to allow software developers to create a seamless flow of information between two applications( in this case stats) the same programming is used to accept credit cards. You enter your CC info to say Microsoft or Sony The API is utilized to send that data instantly and checks against your financial institutions database on available funds, correct info and so on and will send back whether or not the transaction can continue. That is all with a click of a button. So if Destiny Tracker accesses Destiny via an API then all data is factual and auto generated. I use destiny tracker for checking certain things and it's 100% accurate so it's safe to say the data is received using the destiny database.

  • Well DestinyTracker uses the Destiny API. I have programming background so have no idea what that actually means, but I'm told this essentially means that it pulls from Bungie's database.
