Well, I've been doing some intense lore digging lately. There are Dark Guardians, but they aren't necessarily fighting with the Darkness. They are in a sense but unintentionally. They are more like the grey middle ground, "somewhere wavering between the light and the dark." The Hive and every other enemy race use Light abilities and weapons. We have yet to see them use Darkness of any kind. The few cases of Dark Guardians actually use corrupted light, such as Eris, Dregen Yor, and possibly Toland. It's a green burning essence which looks like Solar Light, so I'm just going to assume it is corrupted Solar Light. Anyways, just a thought.

I don't know, I rambled off, sorry. I really just meant that If there were Dark Guardians they'd probably be fighting for themselves instead of siding with the Darkness. I totally agree with exclusive gear and Dark Guardians vs Light Guardians though.

I really like the hive so id love to be able to help them fight off enemies or be summoned into a dark layer with a prince sitting in a throne with thrails knelt at his feet and he looks up revealing his three glowing green eyes and then he gives me a mission or bounty and if i fail he'll send his legions after me but if i succeed i gain his trust and some gear or weapons in return . Thatd be something.
