Sorry to all you naysayers. I almost have all the emblems now plus several cloaks, marks, and bonds. And I can say that when I have them equipped I seem to have much better drops across the board. The ones that I have had the most success with are Blessings of the Speaker and Blessings of the Skeptic. It seems to me that it gets better with one of the Speaker's Class Items equipped and for some reason it seems as it when I have Oracle 99 or Double Banshee equipped it's even better most of the time, especially in nf. So stop hating and try it out. No it won't work 100% of the time but it does seem to greatly increase you chances. Several times I went away from Speaker emblems for weeks in a row and guess what - bad drops all around. i put them back on and boom, RNG starts smiling on me again.

But every time you get a good drop, you'll automatically assume it's because of your emblem. Edit. Just saw the date you posted this. Apologies, I thought it was a recent post.

Sorry to bump the post, I can see it's a necro. BUT I wanted to say, eeziemonnie - I am 99% sure it's fake, it doesn't work. But just like when I repeatedly hammer on that crossing button when waiting to cross the road, I may as well try it, it costs me nothing. I've got so many motes of light, burning 50 or so on a class item and banner to run some raids with? I'm not going to miss them. And if I say FoggyPluto 5 times while my ship descends from orbit? Makes no difference to my life. I promise I'll not then tell everyone else how I got 5 gjallarhorns off one raid or anything. Doing something stupid is fine, trying to persuade others to do something stupid is not so much.

Let's agree that it's more like chicken soup than a placebo. It might not cure the flu but it certainly won't make it any worse. You're right though. Someone else wearing an emblem that [i]might or might not[/i] increase their loot luck, isn't going to effect me.

At least you'll know who the faith-over-science crowd are when you get matchmade/lfg. They'll be wearing the Blessing of the Skeptic/Zealot banner and some sort of wolf-themed cloak if they're hunters. You can then try to sell them snakeoil, or just laugh yourself hoarse.
