I was thinking of this idea where a Gold Enemy can randomly spawn in Destiny alongside other normal enemies.
[u]They would be like this:[/u]
- Very rare spawn
- Can appear during any PVE activity
- Very high HP, tough to kill
- Deals high damage
- Shines bright Gold
- If killed, they drop good loot, maybe an exotic engram (or legendary).
[b]Imagine you're on patrol in venus, you drive past a bunch of Fallen like usual, then you see another group of fallen but you spot a Gold Fallen Vandal in the middle.
You try your best to kill it and maybe other players nearby come to help, then after a lot of effort, you kill it and you see a Gold, Exotic engram drop.[/b]

What do you guys think of this idea? Maybe the loot could be better, maybe a whole set of legendary gold gear and weapons can be found from killing these enemies? Tell me your thoughts.

You mean like VIP events? Sadly barely anyone even cares for those. However a special sub-boss enemy (Like in PoE) roaming the areas would be more fun. One on every planet, each dropping one piece of armour for a full set. Each piece has something that boosts damage against some other race, making it a rare and useful set. Kind of like a raidless raid-gear.

Bungie needs to make doing public events more worth while, or just implement something like this. Make use of RNG with randomness of the events instead of just loot drops

I would like unique loot tied to that unique enemy. Maybe not a shiny gold enemy, more so a very, [i]very[/i] unique enemy. Like from no-where [b]BAM[/b], a dropship comes by and the things inside of it start fighting everything. Raid/Better than strike boss health. Fight it, and a cloak or an addition to your chestpiece can be added. Or a weapon that is tied to that enemy.

Maybe it would be something like lvl 35 and respawns after a certain time to keep lower lvl players from just hammering it for an hour

Loot drops after successful completion of said random event. Problem is public events now pointless and boring. No decent loot drops. So if Bungivision wanted to create a dynamic randomized public event with awesome loot drops comparable to a player's level they could.[spoiler]they just choose not to -___- [/spoiler]

Well the only I reason I am not a huge fan is because if like a level 3 damages him at all and other guys kill it, he could get a Ghorn. Maybe if it was legendary items. Too many exotics is basically my problem
