Housed alone within the isolated cavern, a large prismatic device made the mission more interesting than first anticipated. Closer inspection would have to wait until a qualified team was able to transport it later, but before they could report and make their request, a small Cabal army had trapped the Guardians atop the short mountain, planning to let the Martian desert either kill them over the passage of time or weaken them so they could finish the remainder of opposing strength.
