So lately you go into the crucible and it is everyone using handcannons and shotguns. You come on the forums and it is everyone complaining about The thorn and last round snipers or whatever. So I propose a revolving type crucible playlist where you don't go into the match with your own weapons. Rather, you borrow them from Lord Shaxx's inventory for that match/playlist. Each day there would be a revolving stock with the weapons having randomized perks (all unlocked of course). One day it could be Autorifles, side arms and LMGs. Another day could be scouts, shotguns, and Rockets. There could be two or three options of each weapons (to go with a weapon archtype or something) so that there still is a level of choice to carter to your playstyle.
Now, I know some will complain that this isn't the point of the crucible and having your own weapons or that this will be a super generic shooter - I'm not saying to replace crucible, I am saying this could be a different game mode. By everyone having access to pretty much the same weapons and perk set, it becomes m,ore skill based as opposed to who was lucky enough to get what weapons. This will allow the complainers to play a game mode where the only thing left to complain about is either lag or how much worse you are then everyone else, as well as allowing people who want to play normal crucible the opportunity to do. This could even go as far as offering a "no-exotic modes" and could play into some interesting tournament-style games. Destiny has great first person shooter mechanics, and this would highlight them well too. Supers could still be allowed and each class's unique abilities, but maybe just help to even out the "balancing" issue complainers.
Just a thought.
