When these exotic boots were first leaked around January, everybody was complaining about another far below par exotic, myself included. I mean a damage boost to should charge while in the air? It's a OHK already to most players and also situational. However upon using these boots myself I've actually found they are pretty fun and powerful. They OHK Radiant Skin sun singers, armour of light titans and blade dancer hunters. They even OHK a lot of tier 2 enemies in PvE. It also stacks with the Brawler and Arc Burn modifiers. This quick video shows their true overpowered-ness.

That Titan is like ALLAHU AKBAR
-
I haven't stopped using them since I got them. A lot of fun!!
-
I use them as well. You can kill the Walker in Devils Lair with an one hit as well! :D
I talk about the nightfall with extra melee damage.
Edited by alccode: 6/4/2015 3:17:40 AMHow is it overpowered when the context given is highly situational? You need TWO modifiers together in order to get that effect. Hardly OP. And this is PvE we're talking. "OP" rarely applies here in general. As for PvP, while the Warlocks have The Ram, I don't think any other exotic in the game can ever qualify as OP. I mean, just wow. ...except for Khepri's Sting, allowing Gunslingers to go invis and keep their GG (already the best PvP super in the game).

id rather stick with helm of saints either way i have everything xur was selling this week so i could care less
-
Arc burn, brawler, airborne
-
They can be pretty OP in some situations Some examples would be these two videos, in one I stop a titan mid fist of havoc, http://youtu.be/7W1vf96GXYo And the other I "surprise motha fucka" a blade dancer, https://youtu.be/_xfSjeIwLN4 Hope this exposes how great these things are!

How do they fare against max toughness Ram-wearing Warlocks?
-
So the Knee of Justice finally came to Destiny..
-
Can someone explains what OHK means. Never heard anyone use it
-
I want those now. I am underwhelmed by the gauntlets.
-
Keep in mind people the brawler modifier was on!
-
Did that just happen?..
-
This is Sparta!!!
-
Holy shit
-
I noticed while running around in the tower that if you go from a sprint to a jump, the blue discs on the armor glow super brightly!
-
Are brawler and arc burn modifiers active when this happened?
-
Edited by TyresiusMordekai: 6/4/2015 4:54:46 PMNot overpowered, complete 100% balance. Titan's have needed a good way to -blam!- over people in melee range. Warlock's got scorch, Blade dancer's and gunslinger's got throwing knife AND fast twitch, now Titans have something amazing at their disposal for their melee. Come at me Warlock mains. I dare you to justify why this is OP.

Id rather have an exotic that gives me shoulder charge. Shoulder charge with defender would be fun.
-
They are still wayyyy too situation for me to make any use of them. Would need to actually like to run my striker in PVE to even chance running them. All I want are the new hunter boots.
-
One thing I like about the Peregrines; They are shader friendly! No more having to pick shader to match the static exotic. I wish the other Exotic armors were like this too. Would love to match the Amamentarium for once lol
-
That video. . . Lol
-
It one shots armor of light? Are you sure? It would have to do nearly twice the damage of a rocket to do that. (A rocket will just barley get rid of the shield of AoL
-
Been saying this since they were leaked. I assume that was the arc burn nightfall. Has brawler and arc burn. So 600% bonus to Shoulder charge, plus the in air bonus, Fxcking sexy.
-
Just got mine Tuesday haven't gotten a chance to work them up yet to max but they look amazing
-
Wait, how does it exactly work do you mean? Like is it constant better armour or just some insta kill sc but have to be in the air?
