Selling/Buying Materials
Hey all! vVvDARK WOLFvVv here, so. Im sure I am not the only one that hates that we cant sell materials anymore. so i am just going to help along the battle to get marks for materials! as well as talk about the materials we cant buy.
Seriously bungie, im all for cutting down on the grinding and letting people buy materials and rewarding materials for bounties and missions, but i now have almost 3 stacks of 200 spinmetal, and want nothing more than to be able to get marks for my materials! it would definitely help along the leveling up of my characters since i buy a lot from the vanguard vendors!
by all means continue to let people to buy materials, but please for the love of all that is good, let the reverse be true! i literally have more spinmetal than i know what to do with!

On the flip side of this, i cant ever seem to find enough armor materials for my non-main characters! I think we should be allowed to buy Hadronic Essence, Plasteel Plating, and Sapphire Wire from each characters respective vanguard! Maybe 5 marks for 25 armor materials? hell ill even settle for 10 marks for 25 mats! i just need to be able to get my upgrades so i can do high level content with all my characters!

1 ReplyAgreed! I have stacks of materials that are clogging up my precious vault space (I like to collect things) and I can't bear to just discard them, there's got to be something to do with the spares, trade for marks? trade in bulk for engrams? Hell i'd even trade for glimmer!

I definitely agree with this, mostly from the aspect that I"m a PvE only player and Destiny seems very heavily biased towards PvP. More vendors, armors, and weapons to choose from whereas PvE has just the Vanguard. I think a fully realized in-game economy would be amazing; essence, wire, plating, weapon parts, iron, spinmetal, helium, and globes should all be able to be bought and sold for either glimmer or marks. I'd even suggest a more regular currency system by allowing people to interchange marks of different types or just buy them for glimmer or trade for materials. It would only improve the game and make it easier to access all the content but not remove the level of grind that it takes to keep your preferred currency and materials well stocked.
