A. I’m a major consumer of information in its various forms. What I mean to say is that I play tons of games, watch tons of movies, and read as much as I can. Not only entertainment media, but massive amounts of educational material, like philosophy, math, etc. I also love cooking, hiking, and I just took up boxing. When I’m not doing all of that fun stuff, I’m thinking about it, and how it relates to games. I find the reflections between Nature and Mathematics to be pretty inspiring. If you’ve taken even a cursory look at the recurrences of the Fibonacci sequence in Nature, you’ll be inspired as well, I’m sure.
Wow, I can really reflect with this answer. It is almost exactly what I would say in such a position. Scratch the Boxing and add History and Politics to the mix and it's me in a nutshell. It's amazing how alike I am to his description of himself. I need to take his advice and brush up on my English Mastery though, I believe. [Edited on 11.15.2008 6:57 PM PST]

Not much to say, but cool. Hopefully some years down the road I'll have the talent and experience to join Bungie in their quest for world domination. Ha, that is, if they haven't succeeded by then. "All hail Bungie!" lol

With all due respect, the more successful you are at making your goals materialize the less attentive you are to the needs of others. That's just a fact. By "fact" I mean it is some -blam!- I just made up this second, that may or may not, probably not, actually be valid.
Posted by: NUMBER1SITH
As always, if you think you've got the goods to earn a sup from the milk and honey filled chalice, check out Jobs page for the current crop of openings. We're hiring.
Not to be a jerk or anything... but should that be sip instead?
Sup - to take (liquid food, or any liquid) into the mouth in small quantities, as from a spoon or cup; sip.

For clarity's sake, it is sage advice for those two to follow.
1. Develop a command of the English language, for it is the door through which all other doors are opened to you. Sage advice.

Do you think Joe Spataro discusses the Noumenal World with stosh while he writes Recon scripts?

Single best answer to any interview question that I've ever seen. No exaggeration.

So, after Bungie achieves world domination, I sure hope they open a local office closer to where I live.

Awesome post Urk, thanks!

I've drooled over the User Experience Designer position for what seems like forever. The job description nicely sums up the aspirations I've developed since I stumbled across Macromedia's Flash 5 in middle school. The UED position will have long been filled by the time my skills reach Bungie caliber, but this interview is an affirmation that the company culture and philosophy are as aligned with my interests as the positions offered. Wow. You've hit your peak and have blown your load - You now work for Bungie. And at what? 29? It's all nowhere from here, obviously. WD?

that was awesome. The land of Milk and Honey, ha. I'm pretty sure that makes me a Farmer... or a VolosaRaptor. I'm not sure which.
