So I just got Silent Hill Downpour...
Never played these games before in my life. And people demanded that I give it a go. Am I in for a great experience? Or a regretful nightmare?

Worst one in the series. Get Homecoming or Silent Hill 3. The Room was good. Silent Hill 4 Or better yet, get Siren for PS2 or Fatal Frame 1&2 for Xbox 360. Wicked fun.

Downpour was one of the worst ones in the series. Dont get me wrong i LOVE silent hill but if u want a true experience play silent hill 2 or 3

Well, it is actually pretty competent. Story is interesting and the world us creepy. Voice acting is ok but combat is meh. But that makes me feel vulnerable.

1 ReplyOne of my best friends is a big nut for the series and he hated it. I've never played any of the games myself, but 2 and 3 are considered the best ones. Too bad the HD Collection sucks, I wanted to try them out.
