Cryptarch Not Decoding Engrams
I just finished one of the new Queen's Wrath bounties that arrived today after installing compatibility pack 4. I collected 2 blue engrams from the chest that appeared after killing one of the targets for the bounty. The Cryptarch doesn't seem to recognize those engrams. I had a heavy weapon engram (blue) that an enemy dropped on patrol. He decoded that one. But the 2 class item engrams I received from the chest don't appear when I go to him. He still has a green exclamation point above his head but when "talking to him" they don't appear.
Has anyone else come across this problem? I can put them in my vault for now but I don't have room to collect many more if this keeps happening. I've been playing since week 2 so my vault is packed. Please help.

Oh yeah, the Cryptarch won't be able to decode those because those are HoW engrams for HoW

You can't decrypt any of the engrams until the HoW is released, basically contains new stuff that's coming with the update! so it's best to keep them!

1 ReplyHey SNIPER, All Legendary Engrams, as well as Rare Engrams, acquired from the new Fallen Public Event chests will not be recognized by the Cryptarch. You should hold on to all newly-acquired Engrams of pertinent quality until May 19th to benefit from their upgraded decryption skill-set.
