Why do people think wearing fedoras is a good thing?
Why?

Al Capone

I think that fedoras from decades ago were classy but now it's been turned into a (somewhat valid) stereotype.

If you're in regular clothing, it's like wearing socks and sandals; doesn't look right. Although I know two people who can pull them off in regular clothes, but still only certain clothing/colours can go with them. FYI these people are not neckbeards or douche bags as the stereotype goes.
