Kinetic Damage is trash - I avoid it as much as possible. Once HoW weapons come in, I'll be getting rid of my current IB weapons, since part of the set is Kinetic for primaries. Elemental damage is superior, so of course dismantling trash weapons leaves me with a lot of space. You should consider doing so as well. Especially if you want to do PoE... You're a liability to the team without elemental damage on every weapon to take out various shielded enemies.
