I konw that ODST is supposed the be the end of the Halo trilogy. Me, personally, I don't care what took place on New Mombosa after that explosion. I would like to know more about John117, or better known as Master Chief. Why did Bungie leave the ending so open with him? Master Chief made the series for me and I would like to know what his final fate was. We all saw him and Cortana approaching an unknown planet and that's all we get after 3 archs? So my question is, will ODST answer the essential questions about the Chief or are we supposed to imagine an ending for him ourselves?

just wonder, but since halo 3 recon is about a whole new character, does this mean that it is the end of Master Cheif. Some people say that it would be nice to see Master Cheif come back.

Right then a bungie member with flaming armor and that -blam!- said to me that i can have recon for 2 months membership and i dnt know i might do it but it might be a rip off i want to know???

Hey Bungie, I Really think you guys need to set everything strait as to what you are gunna get once you get all these achievments. i todaly agree bungie has made an awesome trilogy of halo. i hope this new halo 3 recon is bad ass. it better be as good as bungie says it is. BUNGIE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont understand! Is Halo 3: Recon an expansion pack (something we install onto the already existing halo3 game) OR is it a stand-alone game (a completely seperate game like Call of Duty 4 and Grand Theft Auto 4)?! Im very confused! Please help? thanx -Ernest B. [GTA_Tom_V]

Actually I think that it is about what went on during halo2 at earth not the halo ring.

this sounds good...but if halo wars is 20 years befor the "halo" event...then what about the legendary ending...what planet is that...and i dont like the thought of not-firstperson....it is what makes halo well...;halo...i hope bungie dosent run halo into the ground...after the update to 1.2 i have had more lag...i dont know why it is...and i want the new maps soon for acievements...but i dont even know the topic of this blog....but if bungie is trying to replace master chief then well i think ill be done with halo...because master chief is what IS halo...who really like the idea of a marine taking thae palce of the chief and arby...its dumb...so please bungie make a good descision in doing what you think will make the halo story even more complete...case i see a huge hole at the end of H3 after the legendary ending...adn i think mankind still needs Spartan 117 even if is just to let him grow older....dont let it end with him is chyrostasis sleep...please i hope you plan a nother halo game that is 1st person and great like all three of the halos i think that if bungie could somehow incorperate master chief in to recon the thaey should because thats what give humanity hope for the future...what ever it may hold...look on the level IWHDYD...i think i counted 7 or something halo rings...the holographic ones...number 4 was the alpha halo i think what about the other 6....welll i hope its not over for the forever fun first person fighting...cause thats why theatre is there to watch and see how cool it is with-out having to play in 3rd person...think bungie about what has to be done... They should bring back the vehicle ramping physics that were displayed in Halo: Combat Evolved. These were a pleasant feature. Also, there are way two many invisible walls in the most current Halo 3. I believe there was fun and excitement that all could share in finding new spots on the older less restricted maps from Halo 1 and 2. Also direct ports with just visual enhancement of the old levels would be the best. We dont need it to be changed in some weird way. We loved them then and we love them now. Directly port with graphics enhanced SIDEWINDER! [Edited on 10.29.2008 10:23 AM PDT]

So are we as Master Cheif fans ever going to know what exaclty happens to him? He's is going to be left just floating around in the middle of space or will someone actually find and if he is found is he going to be tied into the Recon somehow?

Is it true that when bungie was in the process of creating Halo 3 people from Microsoft and Epic and others helped out just to speed up the process of Halo 3 and release it faster? If YES then is that why bungie created a new one because they didnt want any help. So bungie made Halo 3: RECON.
