So with Halo 3: Recon coming out with its multiplayer experience as an add-on to Halo 3, will the Mythic Maps be included with this game? So if I buy Halo 3: Recon do I get the Mythic maps as well? like with the Halo 2 map pack? where you download them off the disc onto your xbox? Or will they be seperate? I just really dont want to buy the maps twice...

I like to say after much thought, what a waste of time and money Halo Recon seems to be. Using the same engine, lame. No new weapons. Weak. And the same multiplayer.Lazy. Totally weak,lame and lazy Now I know everyone here kisses you booty but I feel this needs to be said.. So stop the production and concentrate on a totally new IP. And fix forge to lock items and predetermined angles, shift keys Bungie, shift keys !!!

Sorry about bodering you but I still have a few Questions 1. Will halo 3:Recon be a disk wich will be the exact same as halo3 except with some added fetures like the mythic maps? 2. I have heard many rumours that people will be able to buy recon over the maketplace. I would like to know if this is true or wether it is just some asumption that some people have made? 3. does bujie know a specific date for when halo3:Recon will be released, Thank you for taking the time to read this letter Yours faithfully meanmully007

ok quick question. so if this game actually takes place during halo 2 and then i guess into halo 3 why dont you just call it halo: recon or halo 2: recon. not saying that i dont like the idea of the new game. im am totally psyched for its release in a year. just saying that i htink that Halo: Recon would make more sense.

How will this work?? I mean how will it load?? Do we put in halo 3 then recon or do we use the recon disk like in sims etc??

Man, grifball weekends use to be fun when people were just hearing about it, and the games were fair, every game full of fun and laughter and excited shouting. Now its just like the rest of halo, with people playing who probably practice it on their own time and then go in with friends and destroy. Leave it to competitive people to ruin another great fun gametype. I got on today, had to sit through a game where four people continuously bashed me and my friends for no reason, saying all sorts of really immature rude things. And maybe its just connection, but does anyone else ever find themselves standing 10 feet away from a guy, and you swing your hammer, and it does nothing, but they, still standing at same distance, swing their hammer and kill you? Or the "I'm five feet from the goal, in the air even, but heck lets just give the team a point anyway since they are so close to it, yet I've been stepping on that plate, ball in hand, [b]like Godzilla steps on Tokyo[/b], and nothing happens. I'm not getting mad at Bungie, I love halo, but man I wish those sorts of things were not so common in an online game. My router is only a few feet away, so I just can't see how there can be any interference. Phwew, just had to let off some steam. Perhaps someone else shares my thoughts on the matter and knows my pain.

Is it going to be downloaded through xbox live market or is it a separte disk for Halo 3:Recon

k, i kinda get it, do i buy the thing, put it in my xbox, then it becomes available when i regularly play halo 3, or do i put it in and it also has all the regular halo 3 things on it so i can play matchmaking on teh regular maps as well as the old ones? what crosses over between the two games, and how?

Why is the Recon Campaign only being released on Disk? I want to download it, as well. I want Content for Halo 3 to stay in Halo 3, I don't want to go to another Disk. What about the new Microsoft Update, that will allow Installation of Full games? I don't want to have to Install both games just to keep the Halo 3 Campaign and recon Campaign and then end up with almost as 2x Multiplayer. I want Recon campaign linked to Halo 3 as if it were DLC, like Map packs do. I'm not to excited for this game I spent mindless hours of looking at halo 3 screenshots when it was announced and he never took his helmet off and the ending didn't really make any sense(yes the full ending). I still love halo it's just that only halo 1 had a great mystery and the other 2 were only action games, please put more mystery in the new game Bungie :). [Edited on 10.16.2008 4:24 AM PDT]

Lol, like freakin, an army is gonna be rushing over the hills in the distance towards Bungie studios, and Gerome has like a spartan suit on, and his minor security people are next to him in ODST suits, and they are staring out at the force of vicious teenage zombers, as black clouds unfurl in a bloodred sky. Gerome and his sidekicks then unsling their shotguns and take up positions near the entrance; desks and couches kicked over as cover. Then the army pounds against the windows and doors, and all chaos unfolds as shots are fired. Then Gerome stands up and says to the minor security guards "Make sure the Bungie staff and properties get out of the building safely." and then rushes toward the window, turning his head back only to yell "I'll buy you time, GOOO!!!" as he jumps through the window and into the sea of vicious attackers. Then, the minor security guards get everyone to the top of the building, and you all have great fun riding the zipline down to safety. THE END. I'll just leave this here... And Gerome is the superintendent. I think Gerome is pretty cool guy. Eh wrestles bears, directs ODST's to safety, and doesn't afraid of anything.

Hey i have a question i've been hearing rumors that mircosoft is creating a new xbox inorder to play the new halo games coming up in the long run is that true?

dam i wish they had a seperate multyplayer, like ODST vs Elites or something like that maby, almost like call of duty were it is faction based. i think it would be fun to create classes with a silenced smg with a red dot on it, or a battle rifle with ACOG and maby a suppresor, like call of duty except with more than one attachment per weapon. i know this is unrealistic for a halo game but no one said i couldn't day dream.
