This is a reply to BOWENSCARFF's post I may be completly wrong about this but after reading the book "Ghosts of Oynx" . Hold on let me explain the book 1st. The reknowned spartan II blue team is sent on a mission. One of them is "kidnaped" by UNSC section 3 to train the next group of spartans. the Spartan III's. Oynex is a forruner "machine/world" built to protect them when Halo was actavated. I don't really rember the details but I know that the plot was going on during the events of Halo 2. Anyway in Halo 3 343 Guility Spark reveals that Humans and the Forrunners are the same race. The book tells of sentinals that are activated when the 2nd halo was activated. the remenants of Blue team and the remaining Spartan III's use Oynex as a "sheild world" They end up going into the real Oynex (the actual planet as opposed to the machine) which is protected by a slipspace field. Ok if ur still with me Halo 3 occurs a few hours after the end of Halo 2 so it makes sense that when the Chief and Cortana through the portal it would be at the same time as the "fake" Oynex (the machine) is being activated. Ya thats great and all but what i want to know is WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CHIEF? at the end of halo 3 the very end what is the deal with the mysterious planet that cortana and the chief are floating to.

A couple more questions: Will the ODST be editable, i.e. the colour and body armour segment, for the campaign? the reason i ask is because this will give the player some uniqueness (if that is a word) , and because having 4 of the exact same ODST running around would become boring and dull.Or will the character's appearance be fixed like the Master Chief was? to keep the atmosphere of a group of ODSTs rather than some rebelious troops that have painted themselves pink and orange. UNLESS there are just a few colours to choose from so the player can feel their freedom of choice but still keep with the atmosphere of the game or level, e.g. a choice of shades of black, grey, white, brown, and green. And will the players own emblem from Halo 3 Multiplayer, be shown on the ODST or will the troop has his own emblem and rank or non at all? Also i have asked alot of people this and they agree, that there should be an option, both for Halo 3 and Halo3: Recon, for the player to toggle the display of their cumulative rank on the left shoulder of their Multiplayer Spartan or Elite. Will there be new weapons for the game such as the silenced M7 that we see the protagonist holding in the recently released clip for Halo 3: Recon? (which i must ad looks amazing both the silenced M7 and the videoclip) because there are too many exploits of current weapons and glithes that alot of people find very annoying , for example when on team slayer i have experienced being killed with 2 bursts from a single BR which i'm pretty sure shouldn't happen! if you can please reply, preferably as a message on xbox live or a personal message, as i'm not on this website 24/7 , even if your answer is no, and i hope that /i have given you some good ideas for any future games or Halo 3 patches/updates/realeases, i hope i have hit a nail on the head for other Halo fans, too! I think that the marine, brute, jackal, and grunts should be playable in multiplayer, and the jackal shield, jet pack, and more vehicles should be added as well because alot of people like to have more choices when we play online.

How abut Halo Wars? Does it have anything to do with Halo3 Recon? Will you have the same gameplay as Halo3 online in Halo3 Recon?

Bungie made halo 1,2, and 3. They think they diserve a reward for that. if u made somthing that big would you want to have somthing special for you and no 1 else. So with Halo 3: Recon coming out with its multiplayer experience as an add-on to Halo 3, will the Mythic Maps be included with this game? So if I buy Halo 3: Recon do I get the Mythic maps as well? like with the Halo 2 map pack? where you download them off the disc onto your xbox? Or will they be seperate? I just really dont want to buy the maps twice...
